Yahoo's new Brand Universe Web sites will be supported by advertising
Other topics will be announced in the next few weeks, and all one-hundred sites will
be introduced in 2007, Broady said. Like much of Yahoo, Brand Universe sites will
be supported by advertising, and Yahoo said it would discuss ways to share revenue
with brand owners. Broady acknowledged that there could be tensions with some content
owners who were trying to create online destinations of their own.

Google blows Wall Street analysts' expectations, again!
Analysts polled by Thomson Financial were expecting Google to post earnings per share
of $2.92 excluding items, and revenue of $2.19 billion, excluding TACs. Paid search
represents nearly all of Google's revenue.

Is Yahoo gaining ground on Google?
You can clearly see that, although Google gained 560 million users in the last year
(down from 1.06 billion the year before), and Yahoo gained 330 million (down from 370 million
the year before), Yahoo gained a higher percentage over the previous year than Google did.

With Google OneBox for Enterprise, employees can search across a greater variety of corporate
information stored in such business systems as Business Objects, Cognos, Cisco, Employease,
Microsoft Exchange, Netsuite, Oracle, Salesforce.com, SAP, SAS and others. Overall, businesses
can also create OneBox modules to access applications built in-house.
